ピアニスト育成プロジェクト Pianist Development Program

PSOピアノスカラーシップ大阪は卓越したピアニストを育成することを目指す組織であり、そのために以下の活動を行います。

The PSO Piano Scholarship Osaka is an organization that aims at  nurturing outstanding pianists, and to this end it will undertake the following activities. 

ピアニストの成長は技術の向上だけではありません。音楽家に必要な社会性、コミュニケーションスキルの涵養も当プロジェクトでは目標とします。奨学金カテゴリーA はアーティスト・イン・レジデンスを大阪で実施して演奏家の成長を促します。

The development of a pianist is not only about improving technique. The project also aims to cultivate the social and communication skills necessary for musicians. Scholarship Category A is an artist-in-residence program in Osaka.

音楽家が活動に専念できる時間、スペース、リソース、サポートを提供します。そのためには当法人PSOだけでなくさまざまな組織、機関、クリエイティブ・スペースと連携を結び包括的に音楽家を支えます。アーティスト・イン・レジデンス・大阪の目的は、芸術的発展、実験、コラボレーション、文化交流を促進することです。

カテゴリーAの奨学者は貸与ピアノが設置された音楽タジオで日常的なピアノ練習を行い、スタジオと同じ棟にある集合住宅に住み、地域やさまざまな音楽家との交流を通じて、音楽活動を豊かに展開させて行くことが図られます。

PSO provides musicians with the time, space, resources, and support they need to focus on their activities. To this end, we support musicians comprehensively by forming partnerships not only with the PSO members but also with various organizations, institutions, and creative spaces. The purpose of the Artist-in-Residence Osaka is to promote artistic development, experimentation, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Category A scholarship recipients will live in an apartment complex in the same building as the studio, where the scholar does daily piano practice. Through interaction with the communities and various musicians, the scholarship recipients will be encouraged to enrich and develop their musical activities.

PSO scholarship supports the scholars as follows:

1. Piano loans

2. providing opportunities and support to present the results of their studies

3. financial support

4. providing access to resources and free participation in opportunities related to piano study

二人のPSO奨学者に奨学金が授与されます。カテゴリーにはAとBがあります。

• 奨学金カテゴリーA：アーティスト・イン・レジデンス・オオサカ Artist in Residence Osaka
• 奨学金カテゴリーB：ヴィンテージピアノ・フロム・ウィーン Vintage Piano from Vienna サウンドサンプラー

PSO scholarships will be awarded to two scholars. There are two categories, A and B. 

•  Scholarship Category A: Artist in Residence Osaka
•  Scholarship Category B: Vintage Piano from Vienna
• Sound Samplers

SPOプロジェクトは大阪を拠点としていますが、カテゴリーA、Bともに奨学者が応募時に在住していることは条件ではありません。

The SPO project is based in Osaka, yet it is not a requirement for both Category A and B that the scholar reside in Osaka at the time of application.

第一期：2024年9月から3年間

第二期2027年9月〜も同様な期間を計画しています。

Phase I: 3 years from September 2024 Phase II: September 2027 - similar period is planned.

以下の目的を有しそれに沿った活動を行う組織をPSOピアノスカラーシップ大阪と称する。

The organization that has the following objectives and carries out activities in accordance with them shall be called as PSO Piano Scholarship Osaka.
