大阪出身。京都市立芸術大学を経てジュリアード音楽院を修了後、ニューヨーク州立大学にて博士号を取得。ジュリアード音楽院にてジーナバックアワー国際コンクール優勝をはじめ、国内外で数々の賞を受賞。アメリカ、カナダ、イタリア、日本などで演奏活動を行い、ニューヨークのWQXRやPBSにも出演。現在、ノックスヴィル交響楽団主席鍵盤奏者を務める。
MANIブルックリン室内楽の共同ディレクターとして、現代音楽の初演や異分野とのコラボレーションにも積極的に取り組んでいる。教育者としては、神経科学や身体解剖学の知見を活かし、マインドフルかつ健康的な演奏法を指導。レベルや年齢を問わず、ひとりひとりの表現する力と楽しさを育むレッスンに力を注いでいる。

Born in Osaka, she studied at Kyoto City University of Arts before graduating from The Juilliard School, and later earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the State University of New York. She has received numerous international awards, including first prize at the Gina Bachauer International Competition at Juilliard.

She has performed widely in the United States, Canada, Italy, and Japan, with appearances on WQXR and PBS in New York. She currently serves as Principal Keyboardist of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and is Co-Director of the MANI Brooklyn Chamber Ensemble. As an educator, she emphasizes mindful, healthy performance practices while nurturing expressive musical development.

Junichi Ito is a PSO First-Term Category A Scholar.
He graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Senior High School of Music and the Tokyo University of the Arts, then continued his studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris. Under the guidance of Henri Barda, he completed the Concertiste Diploma in both piano and chamber music, graduating at the top of his class and receiving a Special Jury Prize.

He won First Prize at the 4th Japan Chopin Competition and was also awarded the 47th Japan Chopin Association Award, presented annually to a pianist who demonstrates outstanding interpretation of Chopin’s works. In 2021, he competed in the main round of the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition.
